The Best Pie Crust Ever 🥧

🥧 Classic Olive Oil Pie Crust Recipe 🍽️

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour 🌾
  • 1 tsp salt 🧂
  • 1 tsp sugar 🍚
  • 1/2 cup O-Live extra virgin olive oil, chilled 🫒
  • 6 Tbsp ice water 💧


  1. Step 1: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, salt, and sugar.
  2. Step 2: Pour the O-Live extra virgin olive oil into the flour mixture and use a fork to combine until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Step 3: Gradually add ice water, tablespoon by tablespoon, stirring with the fork until the dough begins to come together.
  4. Step 4: Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead briefly until smooth. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before rolling out.

Pro Tip:

For a flakier crust, ensure all ingredients, especially the O-Live extra virgin olive oil, are well chilled before use. This helps to create those coveted flaky layers as the pie bakes. 🌟
